TURNING PASSION INTO PROGRESS
GROWING A CARE BUSINESS IS BOTH CHALLENGING AND ISOLATING
ARE YOU EXPERIENCING:
- SLOW BUSINESS GROWTH
- UNCERTAINTY AROUND WHERE TO FOCUS
- STRESS/OVERWHELM
- LEADERSHIP CHALLENGES
ARE YOU EXPERIENCING:
Around half of all home care providers in the UK are small independent businesses.
As you compete for LA and private clients it can feel a cold, lonely and competitive place as you try to establish and grow your care business. You are faced with ever increasing regulatory demands, challenges around recruitment and retention, training and compliance needs, financial pressures, and the constant strategic and leadership decisions that need to be made. It's not surprising you end up feeling overstretched, overwhelmed and even disenfranchised.
Despite your best efforts, in this competitive market, small care business owners and managers, find it is almost impossible to work on their business and instead find themselves working in it.
It doesn't have to be like this.
Do you ever stop to think about how many hats you are wearing and balls you are juggling? Have you though how this could be impacting your health, relationships or your performance at work? Do you ever wish you had someone to help you share your concerns and who could help you navigate your way forward before you risk burning out or giving up?
There is very little we can do to change the nature of the care sector, but if you could become a stronger and more resilient leader, be less stressed and find a more balanced and compelling future to look forward to, wouldn't you want this?
This is where I can help. You don't have to do it alone.
Having worked in health and social care most of my life and been an owner manager of a successful independent home care care business for 10 years, I understand how the stress and overwhelm of running a care business can take it's toll on our lives and well-being. I know how, if it is left unchecked, it leads to burn-out or worse can leave us questioning whether a future in social care is really for us.
My background and experience led me to train and become an ICF accredited coach, where I work with care providers, helping them to manage overwhelm, tackle stress and navigate their energies into becoming motivated and resilient leaders. In doing so they can grow their businesses and have a future they deserve.
If you would prefer to feel fulfilled, confident and enjoying your work, whilst successfully growing your care business then please contact me to have a discovery call and find out more.
